As pointed out in the earlier post today, lots of people seem confused about which developers / landowners own which parcel of land in Edenfield. This has led some people to believe that developments will be less of a problem for Edenfield than feared.
Please note that the current “so-called” Master Plan produced by Taylor Wimpey only includes their plans for Edenfield. This is why it cannot be considered a true Master Plan for Edenfield. Taylor Wimpey is ambiguous about exactly how it will connect to the other developments to the north and south of their plot of land.
The map below shows the owners of the different plots of land that Rossendale Council want to see developed for housing. Remember that the impact of 450 additional houses on a small village with congested roads will be significant.
