This is a link to the Taylor Wimpey Planning Application for 238 dwellings in Edenfield by Taylor Wimpey on the Rossendale Council website. AS with all planning applications, the Council Planning Team is asking people who may be affected by the proposed development for their comments as well as asking affected parties to register support or objections to the plans. Unfortunately this planning application has been submitted in the run up to Christmas, when many people are busy and taking time off work. The consultation period runs over the Christmas Bank Holiday period making it very difficult to engage with the council or the planning team. It has also been published at the same time as Taylor Wimpey’s Master Plan for the development of the land to the West of Market Street.
Despite the difficulties that we face and the short timescales to review this document and the accompanying Master Plan, ECNF is determined to fight this proposal and seek a more suitable level of development for Edenfield.
