We’ve received information from Peel (who own the proposed development areas at the Northern area of the village). They’ve been doing some exploratory work in the woods at Church Lane this week and will be digging holes in the field on 23rd January. Their contractor is called “Northstone”.
“Northstone will be onsite on the 5th of January to collect topsoil samples and some dig trial pits within the woodland north of Church Lane. The team will also be micro-siting the approach in the woodland to mitigate any impact on the trees.
Furthermore on the 23rd of January Northstone will complete 3 more rotary holes on the western parcel of land.”
