ECNF is disappointed by the decision of the council’s development control committee who voted in favour of the proposal by Councillor Eaton (Bacup), seconded by Councillor Ashworth (Britannia & Lee Mill) in favour of the planning application for a housing development at the North end of Edenfield.
The decision goes against the wishes of Edenfield residents and contravenes parts of the Local Plan and the recently adopted Neighbourhood Plan.
