We’ve received confirmation by email from Rossendale Borough Council that the mini‑roundabout improvements and resurfacing of approximately 100 metres of Market Street are scheduled to commence in July.
The pedestrian crossing on Market Place will remain in its current location but will be upgraded as part of the scheme.
All works will be carried out overnight, with Market Street closed between 8:00pm and 5:00am each night for the duration of the works.
