Over the weekend we received a letter from the council and we’re pleased to say that the letter suggests that the consultation period will be extended by 2 weeks (to the 17th January). The letter suggests that the local planning authority (Rossendale Borough Council) will update the relevant page of their website as soon as possible.
At the time of writing, we note that this page has not yet been updated and we are seeking clarification about the extension, since it remains unclear whether this relates to the Master Plan or the Planning Application submitted by Taylor Wimpey.
We are looking forward to discussing this with representatives of the council at tomorrow’s consultation meeting at the Edenfield Community Centre. Tomorrow’s meeting runs from 15:00 to 19:00 in the Community Centre.
